The Nightly marks an exciting return to Boston for Chef Jeff Fournier almost 20 years after opening his first independent restaurant. Jeff received numerous accolades with his 2007 opening of 51 Lincoln in Newton, including recognition by Boston Magazine, The Improper Bostonian, and awards from The Boston Globe for Best Chef and Best Restaurant, and built on that success with the opening of his second independent restaurant, Waban Kitchen, also in Newton, in 2013. Jeff, his wife, and young children relocated to Jackson, NH in 2016 with the purchase of the historic, 5-acre Thompson House Eatery property. With a focus on culinary excellence, Jeff re-opened the previously closed Thompson House Eatery in early 2017 as the Mount Washington Valley’s premier farm-to-table restaurant. Jeff was a back-to-back nominee for Best Chef, Northeast by the James Beard Foundation Awards in 2022 and 2023.
 
Jeff is excited to be back in Boston and to bring his talent, expertise, and commitment to quality and service standards to The Nightly.
